Sri Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao garu was a great philanthropist. In the late 1980s, he was inspired to contribute to the cause of quality education in the Hyderabad area. Guided by his vision, he created a trust in the memory of his late parents using his own resources. A trust named Vallurupalli Rattaiah & Seethamma Charitable Trust was registered on the 24th of April, 1989. This trust, in collaboration with a non-profit Society called Vignana Jyothi, established Vallurupalli Rattaiah Seethamma & Vignana Jyothi Residential School in the year 1995. A long-felt need for a good school in the areas surrounding Bachupalli was fulfilled with the coming of this school into existence. The school received affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi in 1999 (Affiliation No. CBSE/130158/99). Over the years our students have been successfully passing class 10 Board exams, and a proposal to add classes 11 and 12 is under active consideration now.
