Scholastic Area
Periodic Tests: Weekly tests are conducted according to the schedule provided in the Almanac.
Terminal Examinations: Students will undergo terminal examinations to evaluate their understanding and retention of the material covered.
Notebook Submission: Regular submission of notebooks will be required to assess students’ ongoing work and engagement.
Subject Enrichment Activities: Various activities will be implemented to enhance learning and comprehension in different subjects.
Assessment (Classes V-IX):
- Term-1: Includes a periodic assessment and half-yearly examination.
- Term-2: Comprises a periodic assessment and yearly examination.
Co-Scholastic Area
Co-scholastic activities encompass Work Education, Art Education, and Health and Physical Education.
- Classes V-VIII: These activities will be graded term-wise on a 3-point scale (A-C).
- Class IX: Activities will be graded on a 5-point scale (A-E).
- Class V to IX Assessment Framework
In alignment with the CBSE-recommended remodeled assessment system, students will be evaluated through regular assessments in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas.
Discipline Assessment
- Classes V-VIII: Class teachers will assess students’ discipline term-wise.
- Class IX: Class teachers will continue to grade students, with an emphasis on factors such as attendance, sincerity, behavior, values, tidiness, respect for rules and regulations, and attitudes towards society and others.
